Current Charity activity
St Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Cape Town, South Arica ,is a specialist post-acute paediatric hospital providing structured, time-limited inpatient care for medically fragile children who are clinically stable but not yet ready to leave hospital. The hospital provides 24-hour nursing care, medical oversight and a range of therapeutic and developmental services. Operating as part of the South African public healthcare system, St Joseph’s provides multidisciplinary and restorative care in a child-centred clinical environment, while helping to prepare caregivers for the next stage of care. Founded in 1935 by the Pallottine Missionary Sisters, St Joseph’s continues under their stewardship to serve children and families with dignity, compassion and clinical integrity, irrespective of faith, background or financial circumstances. Care is provided at no cost to patients, supported through a combination of public healthcare funding and donor support.

The runs
7 Marathons - 7 Halfmarathons - 7 Continents in 28 Days
The Start of my adventure with a World Record attempt will be in Donaueschingen / Germany, around 28.09.2021, at the source of the Danube River and I will run along the Danube River bicycle path crossing Germany, Austria, Slowakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Rumania with Finish in Tulcea/Sulina Donaudelta , the mouth of the Danube River in the black Sea. The Running Part will finish in Tulcea and from there the last few km I have to take a ship through the Danube Delta to Sulina - mouth of the Danube in the Black Sea.
